16. Warranty terms and conditions
20.
Guarantee for efficient operation of the device confirmed with a seal of the production facility or retail outlet
and seller's signature is granted for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.
21.
Should damage or material defects occur during the guarantee period, the manufacturer ensures free repair.
22.
All damages resulting from improper storage, improper handling and inadequate maintenance, contrary to the
operating and operating instructions, and for any other reason not attributable to the manufacturer, void the
guarantee.
23.
This guarantee does not include fireplace glass and seal as well as parts damaged due to use, contrary to
operating instruction, and in particular:
•
use of fuel other than wood,
•
charging firewood to maximum,
•
excessive fire in a non-heated furnace,
•
submerging furnace with water,
•
modifications of the furnace or the installation,
•
mechanical damage,
•
non-adherence to the installation manual,
•
using non-housed furnace - for housed fireplace inserts
•
using the fireplace without filling water - for fireplace inserts with water jacket
•
corrosion - the device must be protected against moisture,
•
abnormal chimney draft,
•
defects caused by transportation.
24.
Loss of the sealing during transport or assembly must be fixed by the installer prior to commissioning of the
device. Gaskets are considered wearing-out elements and must be replaced before each heating season.
25.
This guarantee does not include furnace elements in direct contact with combustible fuel such as: grating,
deflector, wood sheath, glazed tile, decorative moulding.
26.
The purchaser shall have guarantee rights when installation is performed by a qualified technician and the
device is accepted on protocol prior to commissioning.
27.
The manufacturer must perform guarantee repairs within 30 days from the date of notification of the device for
repair by the purchaser and upon receiving a complete set of documents (guarantee card, claim notification,
proof of purchase).
28.
This guarantee will be extended for the period between the date of repair notification and the date of repair
completion notification. This period is confirmed in the guarantee card.
29.
Repair of the device during the guarantee period by persons unauthorized by the manufacturers will invalidate
purchaser’s guarantee rights.
30.
The Purchaser may claim its guarantee claims only when the Facility fails to fulfil its obligations under this
guarantee.
31.
The manufacturer provides for replacement of the device on the basis of a certified appraiser's evaluation on
irreparability of the device.
32.
This guarantee card is the sole basis for the purchaser to obtain free guarantee repairs.
33.
A guarantee card without dates, seals, signatures as well as bearing amendments and deletions made by
unauthorized persons is deemed invalid.
34.
If the card is lost, duplicates will not be issued.
35.
The device must be installed at the address shown on the guarantee card.
36.
Only manufacturer's spare parts are acceptable.
37.
This guarantee does not exclude or suspend warranty rights.
38.
In the case of a fireplace insert, its casing must be made in such a way that it can be dismantled and re-installed
without damage to it, otherwise any claims related to demolition, re-installation or damage to the enclosure will
not be considered.
The use of the device, its connection to the heating system and the chimney and the operating conditions must
conform with this instruction. It is forbidden to modify the device and to make changes to its structure.
