RECOMMENDATION

- Mains cable should be hidden under one of the channels in the bottom of the product, see pt. 3.5.6.
- Always follow local codes or CSA C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code.

 WARNING

The product must be completely filled with water before the power is switched on.
Do not remove the junction box covers until the power supply to the product is switched OFF.
Do not attempt to repair or replace any electrical component installed in the product before the 

power supply is switched OFF.
Do not use the product with a voltage other than what is specified on the product data plate.
Do not connect the power supply wiring to anywhere other than the product’s main power 

connection. DO NOT bypass the safety thermostat.

The product must have a clearance for servicing of minimum 40 cm in front of the junc-

tion box covers and sufficient space for servicing above the top. 

3.6.3  Torque settings

 WARNING

Constant voltage present in junction boxes. Be-

fore any electrical work is done, the power sup-

ply must be disconnected and secured against 

activation while the work is in progress.

element in the lower panel (hexagonal 

brass)

D)  Internal wires from the thermostats to the 

elements are connected as shown in the 

electrical connection diagrams (right).

Fixed electric fittings should be used for in-

stallation in new homes or when changing an 

existing electrical setup in accordance with 

regulations. A mains cable with plug for wall 

socket can be used when replacing the prod-

uct without changing the electrical setup. Any 

fixed electric fittings must be installed by an 

authorised electrician. The relevant standards 

and regulations must be followed.
