Water Supply Connection & Pump Pressure Relief Function
Water Supply Connection: This connection is used for a standard garden hose
connection (with house pressure running water at 60-80psi). The water pump
is not required when connecting to running house pressure water.
Pump Pressure Relief : This connection is also used to relieve air pockets in the
water pump during the pump priming process and to relieve built up water
pressure in the system after shutting equipment down and disconnecting
fittings.
Siphon Tube (Water Connection)
This connection is used when siphoning water is required. You will need to
siphon water when a rust inhibitor is needed during the vapor blasting process
or when vapor blasting is needed at a site without running water.
The ECO-100 comes with a siphon tube. Connect the Siphon tube to the Siphon
tube connection then place the siphon into a 5-gallon pail of water or connect it
to a water holding tank (sold separately). After the siphon tube is properly
connected you can activate the pump, wait for the pump to fully prime, then
begin vapor blasting.
Siphoning from a water bucket
Place siphon tube in a water bucket that is filled with clean, potable water (add rust inhibitors to
water, at factory described dilution ratio, if required).
Siphoning from holding tank, where a garden hose connection is required
Unthread barbed end of siphon pick-up tube. The siphon will now have a female swivel garden hose
connection that will allow you to connect to any external holding tank. (Add rust inhibitors to water,
at factory described dilution ratio, if required).
The Water Pump may allow for more than
12 gallons of water per hour to flow
through the nozzle. If water flow seems
excessive, use the Vapor-Flex
valve to dial back the water flow.
