TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
Water in holding tank bubbles and pump does not shut off when attempting to siphon water.
Cause:
Siphon tube connected to the garden hose connection.
Solution:
Move siphon tube to the lower siphon tube connection.
Symptom
Media does not flow.
Cause:
Abrasive cut-off switch in the off position
Solution
:
Turn Abrasive cut-off switch on.
Cause:
Vessel losing pressure
Solution:
Confirm compressor supply air. If supply air is adequate, inspect vessel for
leaks. Replace any seals (plunger, plunger seal, handway gasket) that are
worn and leaking.
Cause:
Media is wet/contaminated.
Solution:
Remove handway (confirm air is disconnected and system is NOT under
pressure). Inspect media for moisture or contamination. Clean out and dry
vessel. Refill and continue blasting.
Media mesh recommendation to prevent flow issues are ranges equal or less than 20 mesh.
Symptom
Pressure control button broken in the “ON” position and system will not depressurize.
Solution:
Turn off supply air. Disconnect PTC tube fitting to exhaust valve. This will
automatically relieve tank pressure.
Replace Pressure control switch before using the blaster again!
