12.3. RS-232 Control

VEO-SWM45 can be controlled by a third party control system or it can act as RS-232
pass-through extension. For testing purposes, serial terminal software can be used (e.g.
Hercules, Putty). Please connect switcher to your computer with serial terminal software
installed.

Attention: switcher RS-232 port settings and software settings (eg: baud

rate, data bits, parity, stop bits) must match. Default settings are 115200, 8,N,1, like
in the following example.

Carriage Return <CR> (0x0D) is required at the end of the

command string.
