Do not connect to power supply until assembly is complete. Failure to comply could result in accidental

starting and possible serious personal injury.

Shoulder Strap Assembly

Connect the end of the strap with the spring clip to the handle as per Figure 15 below:

Connect the other end of the strap with the ‘quick-release’ to the handle as per Figure 16 below :

Adjust the length of the shoulder strap to ensure the machine is well balanced and as comfortable as

possible. Use the strap to take the weight of the trimmer, especially when the telescopic poles are fully

extended. Using the strap to its potential will make trimming much easier, faster and less tiring.

Grip Handle Assembly and Adjustment

Our machine is supplied with an extra grip handle that you may prefer to use instead of the black sponge

grip on the handle. Fit the handle as illustrated in Fig 17 below. The handle support bracket which has to be

fitted to the pole using the two screws supplied has the same shaped oval profile as the pole and MUST be

fitted with the profiles in the same direction. Once the bracket is fitted, fit the handle using the

hand-tightening knob. This can be angled and locked in whichever position you find most comfortable.

Please see Fig 18 below. FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF ONLOOKERS IT IS VITAL TO

ENSURE YOU TIGHTEN AND LOCK THIS HANDLE SECURELY TO PREVENTING IT MOVING.
