Mia and MiaMIDI
To audio software, the Mia and MiaMIDI hardware appears as a group of stereo
wave devices. You can view the list of these devices either from within your audio
software or from the Windows control panel. The items you see in the list will
depend on what driver you installed:
Win98/WinMe (VxD)
WinMe/2000/WinXP (WDM)
Mia 1/2 Virtual Out
Mia 1/2 Virtual Out
Mia 3/4 Virtual Out
Mia 3/4 Virtual Out
Mia 5/6 Virtual Out

You’ll find these same input and output options available when using your audio
record/editing software, with the devices assignable on a per-track basis. See your
software owner’s manual for details on how to make these device assignments.
If you are using the WDM drivers, the listed output devices correspond to Mia’s
virtual outputs; routing is done in the console.
Note: The MIDI features of MiaMIDI are only functional with the WDM driver.
This completes the installation of the hardware and software for Mia and
MiaMIDI.
