Drive Shaft (Lower)
NOTE
Hedge Clipper drive shaft should be greased every 50 hours of
operation.
Level 1.
Tools required:
Clean Rag.
Parts required:
Lithium Based Grease.
WARNING DANGER
Shaft Hedge Clipper Blades are very sharp. Wear gloves to protect
hands, otherwise serious personal injury may result.
IMPORTANT
Lower and upper drive shaft must be lubricated with Lithium
Based Grease every 50 hours of operation, otherwise drive shaft
assembly overheating and failure can result.
1. Remove gear box locator screw (A).
2. Loosen (2) two 8 mm gear box bolts (B).
3. Remove gear box assembly.
4. Remove lower flex cable (C), wipe clean and apply a thin coating of
15 ml of high temperature grease.
5. Reinstall cable. Make sure cable end engages upper drive shaft
adaptor.
6. Reinstall and secure gear box edger assembly.
