Individual compartments of the drawer
Detergent compartment for the main wash:
Only detergent (liquid or powder), anti-scale agent, and the like can be used in this compartment.
Compartment for fabric softener, starch, detergent:
You can use fabric softener in the wash (observe the quantity and type according to the manufacturer's
recommendations). Sometimes, the residue of the used fabric softener may remain in the compartment. The
cause is unsuitable viscosity of the fabric softener. To prevent this, we recommend using a more fl uid softener
or to dilute the softener before use.
Prewash compartment:
Use this compartment only if you use a prewash program. We recommend to use the prewash only for heavily
soiled laundry.
(*) Specifi cations may vary according to the purchased product.
Recommendations on detergent type and wash temperature
•
When washing heavily soiled white laundry, we recommend using cotton programs at 60 ° C and higher
and a normal washing powder containing bleach additives that provide excellent results at moderate to
higher temperatures.
•
When washing in a temperature range of 40 ° C to 60 ° C, the appropriate type of detergent for the type
of fabric and the degree of contamination should be selected. Conventional detergents are suitable for
"white" and fast colored fabrics with a high degree of soiling, while liquid detergents or "color-friendly
powders" are suitable for lightly soiled colored fabrics.
•
When washing at temperatures below 40°C, we recommend using liquid detergents specifi cally labelled
as suitable for low temperature washing.
