BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Before using the product for the first time, remove all packaging material, labels and stickers.
2. Clean the appliance including accessories, see the instructions in the cleaning and maintenance chapter.
3. Reassemble all the parts and insert them into the appliance.
Warning: Never use the appliance without
the frying grid inserted into the container.
Place the fryer in a suitable stable place. Do not place the
appliance in enclosed spaces or close to walls. Leave a space of at least 10 cm around and above it. Make
sure there are no objects near the appliance that could be damaged by the heat. When the appliance is in
use, do not cover it.
4. Plug the mains lead into a socket.
WARNING:
When the product is used for the first time, odour and smoke will appear, causing the protective
coating on the heating elements to burn off. This is normal. We recommend leaving the appliance
running for the first 15 minutes without food to allow it to “burn in”. We recommend ventilating by
opening the windows and doors in the room.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING MEALS
The hot air fryer is designed for heat treatment of food without the use of oil or other fats. Do not pour
oil or other liquids into the fryer.
1. Place the food in the frying pan with the grid.
Note:
It is not possible to put more food into the container than the maximum capacity.
2. Place the food container in the body of the hot air fryer.
3. Plug the fryer into the mains, select the programme, temperature and time, see "Food preparation table",
and start with the
z
button.
4. An audible signal sounds when the programme is finished. Check if the dish is done, if necessary, put the
container back and bake for a few more minutes.
5. If you will no longer be using the fryer, switch it off, unplug it from the mains and allow it to cool down
properly before cleaning.
Note:
•
Frozen food must be defrosted in advance and processed immediately.
•
We recommend shaking some foods halfway through the cooking time. In this case, pull the container
out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then return the container to the fryer.
Tip:
If you set the
timer for half the cooking time, an audible signal will alert you when the food is supposed to be shaken.
However, this means that you must then set the timer again for the remaining cooking time.
6. If you remove the frying container from the fryer body during operation, the appliance will automatically
stop. When the container is returned, the fryer automatically switches on and continues with the originally
set programme.
Tip:
During use, you can adjust the temperature or time to your liking. Your settings will
last approximately 60 minutes after the frying pan is removed from the body.
7. The fryer can be switched off manually by pressing the
z
button for approx. 2 sec.
Warning! Danger of scalding:
Take extra care when handling the container, both the food and the container
are hot. The escaping steam could scald you. Do not touch hot surfaces. Always take the container by the
handle. Do not tip the frying pan upside down when serving food. Hot liquids from food are accumulated at
the bottom of the pot. Always use appropriate serving tools - for example, serving tongs.
