SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and keep for future reference!
Warning
: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot
be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating
this appliance. We are not responsible for damage caused during transportation, by improper use, voltage
fl uctuation or by changing or modifying any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and
that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
Connect the device only as follows:
•
Plug the power cord of the voltage changer ECG MP 2030 into a power outlet with the same voltage
(ECG MP 2030 is not included).
•
Connect the power cable 12 V DC to the outlet with matching voltage and shape.
On boats: If the device is plugged in the regular power outlet, make sure that the power source is
protected by circuit breaker. Danger of injury!
2. Do not use the car cool bag if one of the cables is damaged.
All repairs including cord replacements
shall be performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove electric covers of the
appliance, there is risk of electric shock!
3. Avoid potential electric shock by protecting the appliance against direct contact with water and other
liquids, and also by not placing any containers with liquids on the appliance. Do not immerse into water.
4. Before using the device, make sure the power cord and plug are dry. Do not touch the cord or device with
wet hands. Risk of electric shock!
5. The device is suitable for indoor use and temporary outdoor use, but it must be always kept dry and
plugged to an indoor power source.
6. Keep the 12 V DC outlet (cigarette lighter) where you would insert the plug clean and free of cigarette
ash. Do not use metal or other conductive material when cleaning the outlet.

It is important to check the state of the battery in cars that allow powering a device from 12 V DC outlet
without the motor running, to prevent complete loss of battery power.
8. Do not allow children to play with the car cool bag. It is not a toy! Pay extra attention if you use the car
cool bag near children.
9. Do not use the car cool bag close to open fi re or other sources of heat (heating, direct sunlight, etc.).

10. If you feel the device is not functioning properly, unplug it immediately from the power source and visit
a service centre with the appliance.

Never connect the car cool bag with both cables in the same time! Always select only one source
of power! (in case that you bought the voltage changer ECG MP 2030)
12. We recommend that you do not leave the plugged-in car cool bag unattended. Disconnect the cord from
the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by yanking
the cable. Unplug the cable from the outlet by grasping the plug.
13. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
14. Keep the car cool bag suffi
cient distance from the walls and other objects to ensure proper air circulation.
Never block the air vents of the car cool bag and do not insert any objects into them. Do not step on the
car cool bag and do not place anything on top.
15. Do not use the car cool bag to transport corrosive substances or solvents. Store food in original packaging
only or in suitable containers. Do not fi ll the interior of the car cool bag with ice and do not pour liquids
in it.
