How to connect the harness
If you wish to operate the lamps independently of the vehicle headlamps, i.e. on at any time the supplied switch is in the ‘on’ position:
• Fit the switch to a panel in the vehicle
• Ensure that connector ‘a’ is connected to connector ‘b’
• Connect the 2 or 4 connectors ‘e’ to the connectors on the lamp cables
• Connect the ring terminal on the red cable to the positive (+ve) terminal of the vehicle battery and the ring terminal on the black cable to the
negative (-ve) terminal of the vehicle battery (or the chassis of the vehicle if it’s a negative chassis vehicle)
If you wish to operate the lamps so that they only operate when the supplied switch is in the ‘on’ position and the vehicle main beam headlamps are
switched on:
• Fit the switch to a panel in the vehicle
• Remove the connector from one of the vehicle headlight bulbs, fit the socket connector from the correct adaptor harness to the bulb and then fit
the original vehicle bulb socket to the plug connector on the adaptor harness
• Dis-connect connector ‘a’ from connector ‘b’ then connect the connector ‘c’ or ‘d’ to connector ‘a’
• Connect the 2 or 4 connectors ‘e’ to the connectors on the lamp cables
• Connect the ring terminal on the red cable to the positive (+ve) terminal of the vehicle battery and the ring terminal on the black cable to the
negative (-ve) terminal of the vehicle battery (or the chassis of the vehicle if it’s a negative chassis vehicle
