EFFECTS LOOP – EBS HD350 is pro-
vided with an effect loop for the use of
external units such as box or rack effects.
This loop can be set to operate in two
different modes:
Serial Loop:
When DIP-switch no. 3 is in the lower
position the loop is configured for serial
operation. When connecting effects to the
loop, the internal line is bypassed and all
signal passes through the external unit and
back to the EBS HD350.
Parallel Loop:
When DIP-switch no. 3 is in the upper
position the loop is set for parallel
operation, so when connecting an effect to
the effect returns, the signal is equally
mixed between the send signal and the
signal present on the effect return.
The loop puts the external effects after
the filter and compressor sections.

The effect loop also facilitates the
option of phantom power. To activate the
phantom power, set DIP-switch no. 2 to
lower position.

EFFECTS LOOP – EBS HD350 har även
en effekt-loop för inkoppling av externa
effekter i box eller rackformat. Effektloopen
kan arbeta i två olika lägen:
Seriell Loop:
När DIP-omkopplare nr 3 är i nerfällt läge
är loopen inställd att arbeta seriellt. När
loopen kopplas till effekter bryts den interna
kopplingen och allt ljud passerar igenom
effekterna och tillbaks till förstärkaren.
Parallell Loop:
När DIP-omkopplare nr 3 är i uppfällt läge
är loopen ställd i parallellt läge, vilket
betyder att när effekter kopplas till returerna
mixas signalen mellan signalen på send och
returer.
Effektloopen ligger efter filter och
kompressor.

Effektloopen har också möjlighet att
phantommata externa enheter. För att
aktivera phantommatningen, ställ DIP-
omkopplare nr 2 i nerfällt läge.

COMP/LIMIT - A low noise com-
pressor/limiter that works fast and
effectively, tightening up the sound and
preventing the bass head from saturating at
peaks when approaching the headroom
limit. A string may be plucked very hard and
fast, without any greater difference in level
or side effects.
The COMP/LIMIT knob sets the
compression ratio, i.e. The signal strength
relation between the input and output; the
higher ratio the more compression.
The LED intensity dynamically indi-
cates the amount of compression during
play.
COMP/LIMIT - Är en lågbrusig och
mycket snabb kompressor/limiter som
utjämnar volymtoppar likt en stötdämpare.
T.ex. så kan en sträng slås an mycket
snabbt och kraftigt utan att nivån förändras
nämnvärt från det lugna spelandet, utan
störande biljud.
COMP/LIMIT ratten bestämmer
kompressionsgraden, d.v.s. förhållandet
in/ut för kompressorn. Ju högre
förhållande desto mer kompression.
Lysdioden indikerar dynamiskt hur
mycket kompressorn arbetar när du spelar.
