INPUT
- A low noise, high impedance
instrument input that will also power active
pickups and circuitry. If you want to use this
function, take away the 9 Volt battery from
your bass and strap + and - pole on the
battery holder.
Use a standard stereo jack plug, when
using the phantom powering from the EBS
HD350.
The power is switchable off. If you do
not wish to use this feature, or if you have a
passive instrument without built-in elec-
tronics, set the DIP-switch no. 1 to OFF
(upper position) to defeat the phantom
power.
INPUT
- En extremt lågbrusig och hög-
impediv instrumentingång, som dessutom
kan strömförsörja aktiva pickuper. Skall
denna funktion användas, tag bort 9 Volts
batteriet ur basen och kortslut över batteri-
hål och - pol.
Då strömmatning från EBS HD350 till in-
strumentet önskas skall en stereotelepropp
användas.
Strömmatningen kan enkelt kopplas bort
om man inte vill utnyttja denna möjlighet
eller t.ex. har ett instrument som inte kräver
batteri för att fungera. Ställ då DIP-
omkopplare nr 1 i läge OFF (uppfällt läge)
för att koppla bort strömmatningen.
VIKTIGT: Om du använder phantom
matningen/strömmatningen se till att GAIN
eller VOLUME ratten är nerdragen när du
kopplar in/ut instrumentkabeln.

GAIN
- Här justeras instrumentets
signalstyrka till rätt arbetsnivå för vidare
bearbetning i EBS HD350.
För bästa grundnivå, vrid upp GAIN
kontrollen tills PEAK blinkar till vid högsta
utsignal från instrumentet.
Not: Rätt inställd GAIN är en förutsättning
för att signalbearbetningen i
EBS HD350
skall bli fullgod.
IMPORTANT: If you are using the
phantom powering make sure the GAIN or
the VOLUME knob is set to zero while
plugging in the instrument cable.
GAIN
- Control to adjust the instruments'
signal strength to the right operating level in
the EBS HD350.
For optimum basic signal level, turn up the
GAIN knob until the PEAK led starts
flashing from the strongest signal from the
instrument.
Note: A correctly set GAIN is vital for the
signal processing to work properly in the
EBS HD350 .
LINE OUT
- Denna fullrange utgång kan
driva ytterligare slutsteg för ökad uteffekt i
större system.

TUNER OUT
- Denna lågimpedans-utgång
är användbar för t.ex. stämapparat.
Utsignalen är identisk med instrumentets
egen signal och styrka.

POWERAMP
- Det inbyggda accele-
rerade slutsteget är av MOSFET-typ som
ger ett naturligt klart ljud med högsta
uteffekt.
Det interna steget har en inbyggd soft-clip
funktion som simulerar rördistorsion. Denna
funktion förhindrar slutsteget från att bottna
och ökar därmed ljudtrycket och
ljudkvalitén.
Slutstegets aktiva temperatur-kontrollerade
kylsystem klarar maximal uteffekt från
slutsteget utan överhettning.

Täck inte för ventilationshålen
på baksidan.

LINE OUT
- This is a fullrange output that
will drive multiple poweramps, extending
the power of the system.

TUNER OUT
- This low impedance output
is suitable for driving tuners. The signal
from this output is identical to the
instruments’ signal.

POWERAMP
- The internal a ccelerated
poweramp is of the MOSFET design giving
natural sound reproduction and high power
output with exceptional clarity.
The incorporated soft clip system provides
tube-alike distortion characteristics, protects
the power amp from saturation and increases
it’s output performance and sound quality.
The poweramp makes possible maximum
continuous power output, reducing the
maximum temperature of the unit by the use
of a temperature controlled active cooling
system.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure not to cover the
ventilation cutouts on the rear panel.
