). Bytes1 to 7 can therefore

be used for the user data.

The diagnostics messages are contained in byte 1 of
the object 5601

(irrespective of “DisableDiagnos-

tics”). Byte 0 contains the status and control byte.
Bytes 2 to 7 are available for the user data.
The structure of the object 5602

hex

is also changed by

this setting. At the location of the first data byte, byte 1
of the object 5602

hex

contains a byte with two control

bits. These can initiate a clearing of the receive and
transmit buffer.
