8. Frequently asked questions
This section contains information and procedures for solving possible problems that may occur with the
xChargeIn Mobility AC EV charging station.
The unit does not start
Check that the connection between the connector of the charging cable and the car socket is properly established.
When charging with the Type 2 connector, ensure that it is pushed in until an audible click is heard.
If the problem persists, contact your local installer or your Eaton technical support representative.
A red logo is displayed on the socket indication panel
Unplug the connector from the vehicle and reinsert it.
If the problem persists, contact your local installer or your Eaton technical support representative.
The vehicle does not charge
Visually inspect the condition of either the cable Type 1 or Type 2.
If the problem persists, contact your local installer or your Eaton technical support representative.
The connector will not release from your vehicle
Usually, the connector must be released from inside your vehicle first. Refer to the instruction manual of your vehicle.
The plug for 22 kW model does not release
Due to the weight of the 22 kW plug cable, it is possible that the latch on your vehicle will not release. In this case,
firmly hold the plug slightly upwards as you start charging.
If the problem persists, contact your local installer or your Eaton technical support representative.
How long is the warranty period?
The warranty period is 5 years.

The technical specifications shown in this manual do not replace those appearing on the rating plate attached
to the equipment.
The labels attached on the equipment must NEVER be removed, damaged, soiled or hidden for any reason.
