Electrical systems or devices must be checked by the installer of the system before commissioning and
switching on the unit for the first time.
Follow these steps to charge:
1. Check that the display indicator of the xChargeIn Mobility is a green car icon. This means that the charging station is
ready for use. See section 5 on Display Indicators as references.
2. If the charging station is equipped with a RFID reader, place the RFID card close to the reader to authenticate yourself.

If the card is recognized, the charging station display shows a blue battery icon. See section 5 on Display Indicators as
references.
If the card is not authorized, the charge will not start, and a red triangle is displayed on the charging station status display.
See section 5 on Display Indicators as references.
If the charging cable is disconnected from the car and there is no power consumption within two minutes, the user is
automatically deauthenticated.
3. Start a charge by connecting the appropriate charging cable of the EV charging station to the car socket. While your
vehicle is charging, the charging station display shows a blue battery “topping up”. See section 5 on Display Indicators
as references.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the xChargeIn Mobility display shows the battery in blue fully charged. See section
5 on Display Indicators as references.
5. To stop charging, unplug the connector of the charging cable from your vehicle. Usually, the connector must be
released from inside your vehicle first. Refer to the instruction manual of your vehicle.
