Service Procedure

Central Processing Unit Removal

Procedure-

1.

Record the values in the SETUP MENU and the CONFIGU-
RATION MENU, if possible, for setup on the new Central
Processing Unit.

2.

Note the orientation of the Central Processing Unit as
indicated by the arrow located on the Central Processing
Unit.

3.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

4.

Disconnect the VORAD Harness 32-way connector from
the Central Processing Unit.

5.

Disconnect the Central Processing Unit ground strap.

6.

Remove the four (4) mounting capscrews.

7.

Remove the Central Processing Unit.
