REPLACING THE VOLTAGE INDICATOR
ELECTRIC TERMINAL SCHEME
To replace a faulty voltage indicator:
Open the front cover of LV assembly board of the switchgear.
Remove the faulty indicator by dismantling its latches and replace it with a new one. This procedure can be performed when
the switchgear switch off and incoming cable not energized.
Troubleshooting
Voltage indicator
Light / lights are OFF.
Voltage indicator light / lights are blown.
Voltage indicator connection cable socket may be fallen OFF.
Check if the load disconnector is OFF.
Switchgear front cover cannot be turned ON or OFF.
Check the earthing switch
Earthing switch cannot be turned OFF.
Check if the switchgear front switchgear is correctly placed.
Remove the switchgear front cover and turn the earthing blade ON and OFF
a few times while the cover is open. While performing this procedure, push
the earthing disconnector blades downwards with your hand.
LBS cannot be turned ON.
Check if the earthing switch is ON.
LBS cannot be operated electrically.
Check if LV connections are done.
Check if LV fuses (MCB) are OFF.
Check if the earthing switch is ON.
Check if DC auxiliary supply source is charged or not.
Check the polarity of the connection made for DC power supply.
Spring charging motor is not working.
(Motor is optional equipment)
Check if LV connections are done.
Check if LV fuses are OFF.
Check if the earthing switch is ON.
Check if DC auxiliary supply source is charged or not.
Check the polarity of the connection made for DC power supply.
Closing spring cannot be charged
Check if the MV fuses are steady.
If one of the fuses is blown, replace the fuses.
