5.0 Operation
This chapter describes how to use the device and the
EATON Configurator software.
5.1 Eaton TFX Configurator
Configure the device with EATON Configurator. See chapter
Customizing the demo configuration file.
To alter the configuration of your device, first connect it to
the PC. See chapter Connecting the device to the PC
INFORMATION
Before you connect the device to a USB port on your PC,
install the USB driver packet from Eaton.com/TFX. See
chapter Installing software.
INFORMATION
You can find helpful information on the individual objects
(device variables) at the Additional Information field for
each object.
Always use the latest version of EATON Configurator with
the updated information texts.

5.1.1 Creating object dictionary groups and objects
In the tree structure of EATON Configurator, you can create,
rename, or delete object dictionary groups or objects.
This chapter explains how to create object dictionary groups
and objects.
The following example shows creation of the object

In order to create the object, you need the

1. Start the EATON Configurator software.
