Overview
ELC-CODNET, defined as a communication module for DeviceNet, is used to link ELC
series and DeviceNet networks.
ELC-CODNET is a slave module in DeviceNet, it provides DeviceNet slave functionality
to the ELC controllers when connected to a DeviceNet networks.
ELC-CODNET is a Group 2 only Server, and it does not support UCMM. Within the
Predefined Master/Slave Connection Set, ELC-CODNET supports “Explicit” and
“Polling” connections, and does not support Bit-Strobe, Cyclic and Change of State
connections.
ELC-CODNET module provides 32 inputs and 32 outputs channel to communicate with
ELC controllers, so the Polling connection sizes are fixed to 4bytes input and 4bytes
output.
