
The UPS cabinets use forced air cooling to regulate internal component
temperature. By standard, air inlets are in the front of the cabinet and outlets are
in the back. You must allow clearance in front of and behind each cabinet for
proper air circulation.
With the optional top air exhaust kit, it is possible to configure the air outlets in the
top rear of the cabinet. With this option, the UPS can be installed against a wall or
back-to-back.
The clearances required around the UPS cabinet in both of these situations are
shown in
