Setting Up and Using the Spotlight

•  Thanks to the twilight sensor (

15

), the article switches

on automatically when darkness begins to set in and
switches off again as soon as it gets light.

CAUTION!

This only works with natural light (out-

doors), the spotlight does not switch off automatically
in arti

fi

 cial light.

•  At low temperatures it can take a few minutes until the

spotlight lights up fully.

1.  Screw the spotlight holder (

2

) to the base (

4

) to set it up or to

the ground spike (

5

) to anchor it in the ground.

2.  Screw the spotlight (

1

) securely to

the spotlight holder (

2

) using the

locking screw (

the nut which is also supplied into
the hexagonal hole in the spotlight
holder (

2

). Place the round end of the

spotlight holder (

2

light (

ing screw (

3

). Note the alignment of

the spotlight (

1

) when you do this.

3.  Set up the spotlight (

1

) no more than 10 metres away from the

object which is to be illuminated. When using the ground spike
(

5

), anchor it

fi

 rmly in the ground.

4.  Adjust the alignment of the spotlight (

1

) again if necessary.

5.  Always lay the mains cable (

7

) in such a way that it does not

present a trip hazard.

6.  Plug the cable connector into the

socket on the mains adapter (

8

) that

is also supplied and screw the cap
nut (

6

) onto the thread of the mains

adapter (

8

).

7.  Connect the mains adapter (

8

) to a properly installed plug socket.
