Setting Up and Using the Spotlight
• Thanks to the twilight sensor (
15
), the article switches
on automatically when darkness begins to set in and
switches off again as soon as it gets light.
CAUTION!
This only works with natural light (out-
doors), the spotlight does not switch off automatically
in arti
fi
cial light.
• At low temperatures it can take a few minutes until the
spotlight lights up fully.
1. Screw the spotlight holder (
2
) to the base (

) to set it up or to
the ground spike (
5
) to anchor it in the ground.
2. Screw the spotlight (
1
) securely to
the spotlight holder (
2
) using the
locking screw (
3
) and the nut: Insert
the nut which is also supplied into
the hexagonal hole in the spotlight
holder (
2
). Place the round end of the
spotlight holder (
2
) against the spot-
light (
1
) and secure it using the lock-
ing screw (
3
). Note the alignment of
the spotlight (
1
) when you do this.
3. Set up the spotlight (
1
) no more than 10 metres away from the
object which is to be illuminated. When using the ground spike
(
5
), anchor it
fi
rmly in the ground.
4. Adjust the alignment of the spotlight (
1
) again if necessary.
5. Always lay the mains cable (
7
) in such a way that it does not
present a trip hazard.
6. Plug the cable connector into the
socket on the mains adapter (
8
) that
is also supplied and screw the cap
nut (
6
) onto the thread of the mains
adapter (
8
).
7. Connect the mains adapter (
8
) to a properly installed plug socket.
CAUTION: Laser Radiation!
Do not look directly into the
beam. Laser radiation can result in blinding and permanent
damage to the eyes.
8. To switch the article on and off or to change the mode, press
the On / Off / Change mode switch (

). The article has the fol-
lowing possible settings:

Press 2 x: lights up green and red

Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!

Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the article! These could damage the surface.
• Make sure that the glass cover is always clean. You should
clean it with a damp cloth from time to time.
• Store the article in a dry place that is protected from sunlight
and is not accessible to children and animals when you are not
using it.
