NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the handheld vacuum cleaner may result
in damage.
− Never immerse the handheld vacuum cleaner in water to
clean it and do not use a steam cleaner to clean it.
− Make sure that no water penetrates the motor unit.
− Make sure that all parts, particularly the dust filter, are
completely dry before you put the handheld vacuum
cleaner back together after cleaning it.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as
knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the
surfaces.
− Never place the handheld vacuum cleaner in the dish-
washer. It would be destroyed.
Clean all parts of the handheld vacuum cleaner regularly to
prevent any blockage and to ensure that it is functional.
1. Push and hold the release button 17 and pull the collecting container 5
forward and off of the motor unit 3 (see
Fig. A
and
E
).
2. Take the two filters out of the collecting container. To do so, first pull the dust
filter 20 out of the coarse filter 21 and then pull the coarse filter out of the
collecting container.
3. Wipe off the outside of the motor unit with a dry or damp, well-wrung cloth.
4. Wipe the collecting container and the coarse filter out with a damp cloth.
5. If necessary, clean the dust filter by holding it under running water.
6. Clean the vents
4 with a soft brush.
7. Let all parts dry completely before you put the handheld vacuum cleaner
back together after cleaning.
8. Correctly put the filters back in the collecting container.
