Charging the rechargeable batteries
• Before first use, the rechargeable batteries of the handheld
vacuum cleaner must be charged for 5–7 hours.
• During charging, the indicator light will blink red. Once the
charging process is complete, the indicator light is continu-
ously illuminated in green.
− If you have fixed the device plug 10 on the wall bracket 6 , place the
handheld vacuum cleaner on the wall bracket so that the device plug slides
all the way into the charging slot 18 (see Fig. A, B and D ).
or
Insert the device plug in the charging slot if you didn’t secure the device plug
on the wall bracket.
− Plug the power plug 11 into a properly installed socket.
Switching the handheld vacuum cleaner on and off
Make sure that you do not inadvertently push the release
button while vacuum cleaning. Pushing the release button
releases the locking mechanism and the collecting container will
immediately fall off.
− Switch the handheld vacuum cleaner on by sliding the On/Off switch 2 to
position

).
The handheld vacuum cleaner will start vacuuming and the indicator light 1
will light up in green.
− Switch the handheld vacuum cleaner off by sliding the On/Off switch to
position 0 .
The handheld vacuum cleaner will stop vacuuming and the indicator light
will go out.
