MAC Clone introductions:
MAC is the hardware address of network equipment. Sometimes, network providers
may bind network account with the network equipment’s MAC address. So you may
not pass the provider’s authentication when you use a new GIP300/GIP300P IP Phone.
In this case, you can use MAC Clone to copy your PC IP address to GIP300/GIP300P
IP Phone’s WAN.
MAC is an important parameter for network equipments, so you should make sure
that the MAC is right, in order to prevent not to use GIP300/GIP300P IP Phone as
usual. You can login GIP300/GIP300P IP Phone’s Web via LAN if you are incautious
to make it wrong. And then clone the right MAC or resume the default settings.
VPN settings:
GIP300/GIP300P IP Phone has an embedded VPN module, the VPN works with the
Exceed-I VPN server that belongs to GRAND DIGITAL INFORMATION LTD.

other’s VPN servers, in order to provide the dummy providers or sub-network users
VPN service, or works with multimedia operation servers, in order to realize flexible,
