Installation
Component Matching
CCA Series Cased Coils are ready for vertical installation as shipped. Field conversion to horizontal
requires no additional components. The CCA Series Cased Coils are manufactured for vertical and
horizontal applications.
Heat/Cool and Cool Only (Model CCA-00XX): These cased coils are equipped with a distributor
designed for providing optimum performance in the cooling mode and the heating mode. In addition, this
cased coil includes a TXV Kit that is field installed external to the cased coil and is required to make the
system operational in the cooling mode when matched with the appropriate model EarthLinked
®
compressor unit as shown in Figure 1.
