AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT

Yourinstrumentfeatures100accompanimentstylesthatcan

beusedtoprovideafully-orchestratedAutoAccompaniment.

When the Auto Accompaniment function is turned ON, this

instrument creates a fully-orchestrated rhythm, bass, and

chordaccompanimentbasedonthechordsyouplaywiththe

lefthandintheAutoAccompanimentsectionofthekeyboard

(i.e. all keys to the left of the Auto Accompaniment split

point).Theright-handsectionofthekeyboardisavailablefor

normalplaying.

ThedefaultAutoAccompanimentsplitpointistheG3(34)key.

TheAutoAccompanimentsectionofthekeyboardconsistsof

allthekeystoitsleft.

A. SELECTING A STYLE
Anyofyourinstrument’s100stylescanbeselectedviathe

normaleditingprocedure.Thiscanbedoneeitherbeforeor

duringaccompanimentplayback.

Press the [VOICE/STYLE] button to lit the [VOICE/STYLE]

indicator.Youdon’tneedtodothisifthe[VOICE/STYLE]indi-

catorislit.

Refer to the STYLE list, use the [+] and [-] buttons or the

number buttons to select the required style number (00

through99)

B. STARTING A STYLE
Pressthe[START/STOP]buttontostartthestyle.

Pressthe[START/STOP]buttonagaintostopthestyle.

C. ACCOMPANIMENT VOLUME
The[/-]buttoncanbeusedtoadjustthevolumeof

theselectedaccompaniment.

Pressthe[/-]button.Thecurrentaccompaniment

volumevaluewillappearontheMULTIDISPLAY.

Thevolumerangeisfrom01(nosound)to16(maxvolume).

The default volume value (13) can be recalled instantly by

pressingboththe[/-]buttonsatthesametime.

D. TEMPO CONTROL
The [TEMPO] buttons can be used to control the tempo of

AutoAccompanimentandDEMOdeatures.

Pressthe[TEMPO+/-]button.Thecurrenttempo(beatsper

minute)willappearontheMULTIDISPLAY.

Use the [TEMPO+/-] button to set the desired tempo. The

available tempo ranges from 40 to 280 beats per minute.

Eachaccompanimentstylehasadifferent«default»tempo

whichisautomaticallysetwheneveranewstyleisselected

(butnotwhenanewstyleisselectedwhiletheaccompani-

mentisplaying).Thedefaulttempoforthecurrentlyselected

style can be recalled instantly by pressing both the two

[TEMPO+/-]buttonatthesametime.

E. SYNCHRO START
Pressthe[SYNCHRO]buttonifyouwanttheaccompaniment

tostartwhenyouplaythefirstnoteorchordontheAUTO

ACCOMPANIMENT section of the keyboard (it is still valid

while the AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT function is OFF). If you

press the [SYNCHRO] button, the BEAT indicator dots will

flashatthecurrenttempo.Thesynchrostartmodecanbe

disengagedbypressingthe[SYNCHRO]buttonagainsothat

theBEATindicatordotsgoout.

F. FILL IN
Pressthe[FILLIN]buttonatanytimewhiletheaccompani-

mentisplayingtoaddaone-measurefillin.Ifyoupressthe

[SYNC]buttonandthenthe[FILLIN]button,theaccompani-

mentwillstartfromthefillinassoonasachordisdetected

intheAUTOACCOMPANIMENTsectionofthekeyboard.

G. INTRO/ENDING
Any of your instrument accompaniment patterns can be

started with an appropriate introduction by pressing the
