Checking Voice Mail
The message light can be configured to flash when you have one or more messages. To check
your messages, press
Voice Mail
button to connect to your voicemail system.
Your installer will have to configure the FreeRide
Voice Mail
message light, if you want the
message light to go on when you miss calls, contact your installer to set up these options.

Button Functions
Every FreeRide button can have primary and secondary functions. You can change the primary
and secondary functions of buttons that are not locked. Speed dial buttons also have settings,
which link them to Directory items. To assign those settings, please see “Linking Speed Dial
Buttons” on page 17.
Locked Buttons
Standard button functions are assigned at the factory. Button functions that operate FreeRide,
such as
Setup, Directory
, numbers, and , are locked. You cannot change a locked
function.
