3.3.2 Operation Mode

Bridge
All Ethernet and wireless interfaces are bridged into a single bridge interface.

Gateway
The first Ethernet port is treated as WAN port. The other Ethernet ports and the wireless
interface are bridged together and are treated as LAN ports.

AP Client
The wireless apcli interface is treated as WAN port and the wireless ap interface and the
Ethernet ports are LAN ports.

NAT Enabled
Network Address Translation. Default is Enable

Ethernet wan port as wan in AP Client Mode
The Ethernet wan port is used as for WAN in AP Client mode. Default is Checked

Ethernet wan port as lan in Cell Gateway Mode
The Ethernet wan port is used as for lan port to get 2 LAN Ethernet ports, which is only for
Cell Gateway Mode. If is WAN RJ45 Ethernet port is used for WAN, please do not check this
feature. Default is
Checked

All Data to WAN with NAT
If check this feature, all data to H685 WAN will be NAT. For example if use H685 to be
VPN Server, and the Clients need visit internet through H685 via VPN, the feature need to be
checked. Default is Un
checked
Normally and default we select “Gateway mode”, and keep all other parameters as default.
