Slide the canopy hatch pin rearward and lift the
canopy from the fuselage. The canopy is held in place
with two pins at the front. Set the canopy aside so it
doesn’t get damaged.

Carefully roll or fold the exhaust tube into the shape
shown. It is made of a durable clear plastic and will not
be harmed by doing so. Carefully remove the tube from
the fuselage.

Place a piece of low-tack tape at the front of the
fan cover so it can easily be oriented back on the
fuselage. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove
the four M2 x 8 self-tapping screws that hold the fan
cover to the fuselage. Set the screws and cover aside
in a safe location.
Kleben Sie ein Stück Kreppband auf die Vorderseite der

soigneusement la trappe et les vis.
Mettere un pezzo di nastro a bassa adesività nella
parte anteriore del coperchio della ventola in modo che
si possa girare facilmente indietro verso la fusoliera.
Con un cacciavite Phillips #1 togliere le quattro viti
autofi lettanti M2x8mm che fi ssano la copertura della
ventola alla fusoliera. Mettere da parte le viti e la

Use a 9/64-inch ball driver to start the four 8-32 x
1/4-inch socket head bolts in the aluminum wing sockets
inside the fuselage. Only thread the screws in a few turns
at this time. Use care not to cross-thread the screws and
damage the threads in the aluminum sockets.
Drehen Sie mit einem 9/64 Inbusschlüssel die vier 8-32
x 1/4 Schrauben in die Aluminiumhalter. Drehen Sie die
Schrauben vorsichtig nur etwas hinein und achten dabei
das Aluminiumgewinde nicht zu beschädigen.
Utilisez une clé à boule 9/64pour débuter le serrage des
4 vis 8-32x1/4’ dans les fourreaux en aluminium situés
dans le fuselage. Vissez les vis que de quelques tours.
Prenez soin de viser les vis parfaitement droit afi n de ne
pas endommager les fi letages taillés dans l’aluminium.
Avviare le quattro viti con testa a brugola da 8-32x1/4
negli zoccoli in alluminio all’interno della fusoliera. Per
ora avvitare le viti solo per alcuni giri. Bisogna fare
attenzione a non inserire le viti storte per non rovinare la
fi lettatura nell’alluminio.
