E-flite Apprentice Assembly Manual



2. Plug the motor battery into the speed control.

Important

: Always use extreme caution around the

propeller when the motor battery is plugged in. A

spinning propeller can cause serious damage or injury.

It is always best to stay behind the propeller and keep

it away from loose objects when the battery and speed

control are connected.

Elevator Throw



3. Use a ruler to check the control throws on your

elevator. The dimensions are shown below. For your

reference the elevator pushrod is set up in the following

holes: The outside hole on the elevator control horn and

the fourth hole in on the elevator servo arm.

Low Rate: 3/8-inch (9mm) (Up/Down)

High Rate: 3/4-inch (19mm) (Up/Down)
