e-breathe Smartblower
5.0 Smartblower Functional Description
By pressing the power button/menu button the blower is switched on. By pressing the power button for 2 seconds,
the blower is switched off again.
Upon switching on, an acoustic signal sounds briefly and the display lights up.
5.1 Switch-on Phase/System Test
Afterwards the blower performs a self-check. In this phase, the start logo
is displayed with the selected SVE mode (a). This process takes about 5
seconds.
If an error occurs during the Self-Check phase, an alarm is shown on the
display with the corresponding error code for 5 seconds. The unit then
switches itself off automatically to prevent the blower from starting up
without correcting the error.
If no error occurs during the Self-Check phase, the display automatically
switches to the main menu.

5.1.1 Start Logo / SVE-Mode Display
The default SVE mode is displayed at the start logo. Depending on the application, this mode is predefined by the
manufacturer for the head section and the filter used. Only the manufacturer or a authorized service partner can
change the SVE mode using a PC application.
Depending on the head piece used, a differentiation is made between hood mode and full mask mode for the SVE
modes.
In hood mode, a distinction is made between one-filter and two-filter operation. The corresponding mode depends
on the number and selection of filters.
The full mask mode is only possible with one filter mode, since this mode is only intended for use with a particle
filter.
