b) After fixing the grinding housing, turn the jug and housing together, and place on the
engine unit. Turn the insert on the engine housing in the direction of the arrow (anti-
clockwise) until the locking shoulders of the jug click into place in the seat in the
engine unit.
4. During the operation of the equipment, always secure the grinding/chopping attachments onto the engine
unit with one of your hands to limit the impact of vibration.
5. You can operate the equipment as described in point 4 of the section "Preparing a mixture" using the
grinding/chopping attachments.
6. When you reach the required grinding/chopping consistency, turn off the equipment by using the button
marked "0”, or release the pause switch marked "M”. When turning off the equipment, ensure that the
grinding cutters (7c / 8c) come to a complete standstill before removing the grinding unit from the engine
unit. Otherwise the plastic/rubber clutch element of the grinding cutters which connect with the engine unit
may become damaged.
7. After removing the grinding/chopping attachment from the engine unit, turn it round and set it onto the
bottom of the jug. Next turn the grinding housing (7b / 8b) anti-clockwise and remove it from the grinding
jug.
Very important!
•
Do not use the blender continuously for more than 1 minute. Following 1-minute of use you must have a
minimum period of 10-minutes at standstill. If you exceed the maximum operating time, or do not keep to
the standstill period, the driving unit of the equipment may get overloaded and damaged.
•
Do not use the grinding/chopping attachment for chopping juicy materials or meat.
•
Do not use the jug of the grinding/chopping attachment as a storage bowl. Don't store either the material
that is to be processed, or the finished, product in the jug. After using the equipment, the blending jug must
be immediately emptied. It is very important - especially after chopping vegetables - to immediately remove
the jug and empty it of any residual vegetables. These can produce a liquid that may seep out from the
attachment and possibly damage the attachment parts.
•
Never operate the equipment with the grinding/chopping attachment when it is empty.

3. Put the soya beans into the jug together with the water through the cone part of the insert. Then place the
cover on the jug with the closing cap on its feeding aperture.
4. Turn on the equipment by using the speed switches (2c, 2d).
5. The blending process causes the prepared soya milk to flow out from the external part of the insert into the
jug, whilst the coarse parts of the soya beans and the skins remain in the internal part of the filter.
6. When you have finished making the soya milk, turn off the equipment by using the off button marked by "0”
(2e).
7. Pour out the soya milk from the covered jug through the pouring beak, and sweeten and flavour it according
to your taste.
Handle the soya press insert carefully when blending or cleaning it. If the insert gets damaged, or
mis-shapen, it may become dangerous. In this condition it may cause other equipment parts to
become damaged and prevent further use. If the press becomes damaged you should replace it at
an authorised service centre.
Use of coffee grinder or chopping attachment
1. Place the attachment jug (7a / 8a) on a flat surface with its open half upwards.
2. Pour the coffee beans or food to be ground into the jug. The maximum quantity that can be processed at any
one time using the attachments is 60 gram. Never add more than this to the jug.
3. The configuration of the attachments for the two functions is very similar. They only differ in the design of
their cutters so that the same instructions apply.
a) Place the grinding housing (7b / 8b) into the jug then turn it in the direction of the
arrow (clockwise) until it fits, or until the plastic locking shoulders on its 4 sides
engage with the pins of the jug and firmly lock the housing to the jug.
