After use and before cleaning, always turn off the equipment and unplug the unit from the wall socket. Never
disconnect the power supply by pulling the cable away from the wall socket; always hold the connector plug.
Before unplugging the equipment from the wall socket, always turn the appliance off by using the off button
marked "0”.
•
If you want to add or remove equipment components from the food processor, or if you wish to clean it, first
unplug the unit from the mains electricity supply.
•
Note that when the food processor is operating, you should not put your hands, kitchen utensils or any other
equipment into the blending jug, grinding or fruit squeezing attachments. Additionally under no
circumstances touch the sharp rotating knives, or use tools or utensils to do so.
•
Never operate the equipment when it is empty.
•
Never use an appliance or accessory that the manufacturer did not supply with or propose for use with the
appliance. The use of such appliances might lead to accidents or irregular function.
•
Never lay the mains cable beside or across sharp edges or hot surfaces. Never wrap the mains cable around
the cover of the appliance, do not pull the cable and do not lift the appliance with the mains cable because
the cable can break or the insulation can be damaged. A damaged cable must be replaced by an authorised
service engineer. The appliance must not be used or connected to a wall socket if the cable is damaged.
•
Don't put the appliance near hot objects (e.g. oven, hob, heating appliance etc.) or on any hot surface.
•
Don’t place the appliance anywhere it could slide down, fall or be knocked off accidentally.
•
The use of the appliance must be avoided in areas where the temperature is too high or too low or where the
appliance is subject to vibrations. Avoid using the appliance under wet or vaporous conditions. The appliance
can be used within the temperature range of +10°C to +35°C and stored within the range of +5°C to +40°C.
•
Don't use the appliance in the presence of explosive or inflammable gases, vapours or liquids.
•
Do not let any foreign material get into the apertures of the engine unit. Also do not attempt to push
anything into these apertures as you may receive an electric shock or other injury, or an electrical short circuit
may occur. Also prevent unsuitable solid and hard objects from accidentally getting into the blending,
grinding and fruit squeezing attachments, as this may cause an accident, or damage the equipment.

Before turning on the equipment, please check that the food processing attachments are properly fitted. Do
not remove any attachments from the food processor by any method whilst the appliance is being operated
or is connected to the mains electricity supply. Before removing any attachment from the equipment, ensure
the engine is at a complete standstill.
•
Before connecting the equipment to the mains electricity, always ensure that speed switches are turned off.
•
You may only connect fully assembled equipment to the mains electrical network. For your protection, the
equipment is supplied with a security system. This prevents the machine from working if any attachment is
not properly fixed onto the engine unit. The cover must always be placed onto the blending jug before
operation; you are prevented from turning on the equipment without doing so. Also in cases where the
fruit juice centrifuge and grinding units are not properly assembled, the security system prevents the

This appliance has been designed for household use only, no other (heavy duty) uses are permitted.
•
Never use the appliance outdoors.
Important. Never leave the equipment unattended when turned on - even if only for a few
moments. If you have finished work and wish to stop using the machine, always turn it off by
using the off button marked "0” then unplug the appliance from the electrical wall socket or
extension cable.
•
Children should not use the appliance. It should be stored where children cannot reach it and should only be
used when children are not nearby. Please pay extra attention if you use the appliance in the presence of
young, elderly or handicapped people. You should warn such people about the risk of accidents when you are
using the appliance.
•
In order to avoid an electric shock, never dip the equipment or its electric cable or connector into water or
other liquid. Don't allow water or other liquid to splash onto the engine unit, and do not touch it with wet
hands. Do not operate the equipment near a bowl containing liquid. Always connect the equipment to the
electric network with dry hands. The equipment casing, network cable and connector, as well as the network
socket, must always be dry. Should the equipment fall into water whilst you are operating it, despite you
taking all precautions, you must first unplug it from the mains electricity before touching it. Only take it out of
the liquid after it has been disconnected.
