POWER SUPPLY
The appliance must only be connected to mains electricity of 230V and 50Hz.
Always ensure the mains voltage where you’re using the appliance corresponds to the
value shown on the nameplate of the appliance.
USING OF APPLIANCE
Unpack the appliance and remove all the packing materials.
Inspect the appliance and the accessories carefully to verify their soundness and undamaged condition. Only
perfectly sound and damage-free appliances may be connected to the electrical mains.
After removing packaging materials or after a long period of storage, carefully clean the equipment parts. These
include the blending jug, soya press insert, blending knife, fruit centrifuge discharge head and filtering insert,
grinding jugs, grinding housing and the measuring bowl. These parts are in direct contact with the food to be
processed and dust or other possible deposits should be removed. (Carry out cleaning as described in the section
titled "Maintenance and cleaning of the equipment”.)
Use of blending attachment
1. Before starting work, place the equipment on a flat, stable surface. Ensure proper ventilation of the
equipment during use. In order to achieve this remove any material that could prevent ventilation (packing
material, cloths, paper, etc.).
2. Remove the blending jug cover (5b) and fill up the blending jug (5c) with the necessary basic materials. If you
process diluted liquids, do not fill the jug up to the MAX marking. In this case a maximum of 1 litre of basic
material is recommended. When you blend a greater quantity, you should operate the equipment several
times, using smaller amounts each time (with the necessary standstill periods being observed).
If the meal being prepared also contains solid food ingredients, always pour the liquid into the blending jug
first, and then place the solids into it afterwards. Cut the solid food (e.g. vegetable, fruit, stewed or raw
meat) into small pieces before placing it into the jug. When using food pieces, you may fill up the blending
jug maximum to the 750 ml marking, including the liquid. When measuring the ingredients for the mixture
you may use the measuring bowl (6f) provided with a 100 ml scaling. (Note: The fruit juice storing bowl is not
recommended for measuring ready-prepared foods, or raw or stewed meat.)
After filling up the blending jug, put the cover onto the jug and place the closing cap of the feeding aperture
into the cover (5a). When putting the blending jug cover in place, ensure that it is close fitting to the jug.
Should moisture get onto the side of the jug during filling it up, wipe the surface dry.
