Appendix D: Page Editing Software

DynaVox Series 4 Page Editing Software is another resource that was shipped with your device. This
software is a non-speaking version of the DynaVox Series 4 software on your DV4/MT4 device. Any pages,
macros, songs, reminders or other information that are created with the page editing software can easily
be transferred to your DV4/MT4 device. Page editing software is an ideal tool for page creation and
programming in instances where several individuals share a device, or when the device is not available for
programming. You can also use DynaVox Series 4 Page Editing Software to create and print low-tech
communication boards.

To install the DynaVox Series 4 Page Editing Software, follow these steps:

Note:

DynaVox Series 4 Page Editing software is available for Windows only.

1. Place the CD in your computer’s CD drive. It should launch within 10 seconds. If it does not,

double click on the

My Computer

icon on your desktop to find the CD drive, and then double-

click on that drive.

2. Double-click on the

SETUP.EXE

file to launch the software installer.

3. Follow the instructions that are presented as the installer progresses.

Once the Page Editing Software is installed, you can use it exactly as you use the software on your
DV4/MT4 device. Use this

Quick Start

and the DynaVox Series 4 Searchable Help as resources for creating

pages and other information with the Page Editing Software.
