Setup

OCTAVE

The OCTAVE function makes it's possible to shift the octave of the keyboard, allowing you to match
the octave of the keyboard to the range of other instruments.

Press both 

TOUCH 

and 

SPLIT

buttons. (NOT HOLD DOWN)

The Octave shift  pop-up display appears and shows current value.

☞

The value can be changed by pressing

DATA UP

or

DOWN

button.

☞

This function works for only main voice.

☞

If you press both 

UP

and 

DOWN

buttons at the same time automatically return to the default value.

☞

Range

: -2 ~0 ~ +2 octave (Default 0)

☞

Backing Up adjusted value.

The last adjusted value of each Function can be retained in memory.

METRONOME BEAT

Press both 

LAYER 

and 

METRONOME

buttons. (NOT HOLD DOWN)

The Metronome Beat  pop-up display appears and shows current beat of the metronome for 5 seconds.

☞

Change the metronome beat by using the

DATA UP

or

DOWN

button.  

☞

Metronome beat can be select  one  of  8 preset beats (1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4(default), 6/4, 3/8, 6/8, 7/8, 9/8, 12/8, 2/2).

Backing Up adjusted value.

The last adjusted value of each Function can be retained in memory.

LOCAL CONTROL

Local control refers to the fact that, normally, the piano keyboard controls its internal tone generator,
allowing the internal voices to be played directly from the keyboard. 
This situation is called Local Control ON. When the local control is set to off, the keyboard and sound
source are separated and no sound is heard through the piano when playing the keyboard.
However, the data of the keyboard performance is output through MIDI. By setting local control to off,
you can play an external MIDI tone generator from the keyboard of the piano without sounding the
internal voices.

Press both

The local control pop-up display appears and shows current beat of the metronome for 5 seconds.

Change the local control setting by using the

DATA UP

or

DOWN

button.  

☞

If local control is off, piano does not make any sound and just send MIDI message via MIDI out port.
