TOTALS Page
1. Category:
The type of counts that are displayed. Use the UP/DOWN to cycle
between the different Categories:
[TIME]
(Number of seconds spent dosing),
[COUNT]
(Number of times each outlet has dosed), and
[AVERAGE]
(Average duration of each dose; TIME divided by COUNT)
2a. Period time:
(Resettable)
The counts for each outlet/inlet since the IVM was last re-set.
2b. Total time:
(Non-Resettable)
The counts for each outlet/inlet for the life of the valve (monitor).
3a. Outlets:
Each outlet has its own resettable Period and Total counters.
3b. Inlets:
TIME and COUNTS for the valve inlet (top of the stem in the RDSA) are
also logged. This can be used for cross-checking correct operation. If the
system and valve are functioning properly, the inlet count should be close
to the sum of the outlet counts. Some variation will occur due to the time
for the flow to reach the valve and cause the RDSA to “seat”. Inlet time
should also be very similar to the time logged by the pump dosing the
valve (eg. Compare to the elapsed time meter - ETM data for the pump).
Also note, the IVM “inlet sensor” logs time when the IVM is powered up
but not installed on the valve.
