Chassis Setup:

During the setup phase of an I/O Plexer Repeater system, the main chassis are given specific
values for unit identity, network baud rate, and in the case of 

UNIT O

, where the separation

between input and output modules is. A momentary pushbutton and seven segment display
provide access to these parameters. Figure 3-1 shows the location of these components labeled
setup pushbutton and sequential display.

During normal operation, the sequential display shows the following characters one at a time.
