The DC AirCube X2 Air Cleaner is intended for
cleaning the air in a work area and is intended
for use as a compliment to spot extraction. The
DC AirCube X2 consists of two complete units on
a common chassis. Each unit has got two fi lters and
a fan. Air is passed through a combination fi lter and
a HEPA fi lter. The HEPA fi lter actually separates
particles to 99.97 % (DOP). The combination fi lter
separates the majority of the particles and thereby
prolongs the life of the HEPA fi lter.
Description
Operation
Connect the machine to a suitable power source ac-
cording to the specifi cation of the machine. When
using an extension cable with the machine, ensure
that the connection is water tight and the extension
cable is suitably rated.
Start unit by turning the switches on the two units
on. Four capacity levels can be used by selecting low
speed (I) or high speed (II) on each unit.
If disturbing noise install a silencer, part no 3228.
After ca 700 working hours the pre-fi lter should be
exchanged, see Service on next page. When dust load
is extra high more frequent fi lter changes might be
necessary.
When a loss of suction capacity is experienced the
pre-fi lter should be changed. If the suction capacity
does not increase after the pre-fi lter change then the
HEPA fi lter should also be changed.
Each fan has two speed settings which allow for eco-
nomical running, for example during the night.
The DC AirCube X2 can also be used to discharge air
from work places which must be kept under negative
pressure. Two 125 mm hoses can be attached to the
fan outlet where necessary.
