20. RECOMMENDATIONS

Make the installation wiring independently from the rest of the systems that are installed.

Use protected cable 4 wires: 2 x 1,5mm

power and 2 x 0,25 mm

twisted pair cable communications. For explosive gas

power supply increase the diameter of the 4 wires to 2 mm

Do not install the detectors near sources generating electromagnetic -fluorescent, engines, etc.- perturbations. Avoid
installing them near sources generating a lot of heat -it will decrease the useful life of the sensor-.

Install the detectors with the gas input orifice down in order to prevent dust and other particles from accumulating.

Connect the earth connection for the equipment because the relay modules incorporate a special discharge circuit that
needs that connection to be operational.

Do not install the equipment near switchboards, frequency changers, etc.

Do not drill holes in metal cabinets. Use the pre-cut holes provided for the wire input.

Do not manipulate or take apart any module, detector or device with the equipment voltage on.

In the event any of the fuses break, always use the value indicated on the printed circuit or on the fuse itself.

The output fuse for supplying power to the detectors in the module line opens up automatically when detecting a
short-circuit or excess of consumption. If this happens, disconnect the wires from the borne, check the wiring, check
consumption in amperes and wait for the fuse to automatically go back into order.

Never exceed the technical specifications described in this manual.

21. GUARANTEE

Control Unit has been manufactured subject to strict quality

controls.

EUROSONDELCO

is guaranteed against any manufacturing defect for 1 year from the date of purchase. If during this period

of time any anomaly were to be detected, please advise your supplier or installer.

The guarantee covers the total repair of the equipment that the

technical services consider to be

defective, so that the equipment can return to its normal use. This guarantee will only be valid if the equipment has been
installed by a competent person and following the specifications in this manual. Negligent use or installation will exempt

DURAN ELECTRONICA

from its responsibilities for damage caused to property and/or people and from the fulfilment of the

terms of this guarantee.

The guarantee does not cover:

• Installations, periodical checks and maintenance.

• Repairs caused by improper handling, inappropriate use, negligence, overload, insufficient power supply or
neglecting the equipment, voltage shorts, defective installations and other external causes.

• Repairs or adjustments carried out by personnel not authorised by DURAN ELECTRONICA.

• The equipment transport costs.

reserves the right to carry out improvements or to include modifications to this equipment without

prior notice.
