5.3 PC-PRO Wi-Fi communication limitations 

 

If the microinverters are installed on a concrete roof or steel roof, the communication with the PC-PRO DTU may be slightly 

affected. Under such installation conditions, it is better for the microinverters to be installed 50cm above the roof. Otherwise, 

additional DTUs (large arrays) may be required to ensure the communication quality between the DTUs and the 

microinverters.  Residential rooftop installations with metal roofs may require the DTU to be installed closer to the PV array.
