4. CONTROL PANEL

4-2. Control Panel LCD and Selection Items on LCD

The jog dial on the control panel is used to change and confirm items and values in this machine.
Turning the jog dial switches the item displayed on the LCD in order, and pressing it confirms the
mode or value changed to.

(1) Example of initial screen of LCD

“A3”

: Paper size

“Cov”

: Indicates that the paper feeder B (cover paper) is used

(“NCov” is displayed when not used)

“ASZ”*

: Indicates that the automatic size detection is on

(“MSZ” (manual size) is displayed when this function is not used)

(Nothing is displayed when this mechanism is not used)

: Indicates that the end mark sensor (number of sheets check function) is on

“MR” is displayed when the random binding function is selected
(Nothing is displayed when this function is not used)

*1: When the DBM-400 Sheet by Sheet is connected, the automatic size detection function cannot be

used. (“MSZ” is always displayed)

*2: Take note that this value may not always match the value of “TC” (total count) displayed on the

DBM-400T when the DBM-400T is connected.
