DAB / DAB+ radio
The radio supports Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB).
DAB is the digital distribution of audio signals. DAB+ is
the further development of DAB in optimised digital
audio compression.
Several programmes can be broadcast in one
frequency block. The programme bundle is called a
multiplex or ‘ensemble’.
Position the radio near a window and fully extend the
aerial.
Note
To improve reception, it may be necessary to point the
aerial in a different direction.
1. If necessary, press button MODE (4) to select
DAB / DAB+ radio.
2. The scanning process starts automatically when
the radio is first turned on.
3. Press button STATIONS (3) to open the list of
stations.
4. Turn button SCROLL/SELECT (5) to switch between
stations.
5. Press button SCROLL/SELECT (5) to select a station.
The selected DAB station is shown in the display.
Favourites list
Up to 10 DAB / DAB+ stations can be stored in the
favourites list.
• Press and hold one of the buttons Preset 1 - 7 (16) to
add a DAB / DAB+ station to the favourites list.
The station is saved in the desired position.
"Favourite # saved" appears in the display.
• Press and hold button Preset 8+ (16) to store a
station in positions 8 - 10.
Turn button SCROLL/SELECT (5) to select the
desired memory location for the station.
Press button SCROLL/ SELECT (5) to confirm saving.
"Favourite # saved" appears in the display.
Then the radio switches back to the station.
