5. Operating modes
A correctly configured WL2 card, after resuming its work, will automatically try to connect to the
previously configured Wi-Fi network, which will be signaled by a slow blinking of the yellow LINK LED. If
the network is working properly, connection with the router will be established (the yellow LINK diode will
light up permanently). The selection of the WL2 card operation mode is made in the device in which it is
installed.
5.1. Network Cloud mode
In this mode, the card connects to a remote server (called cloud). Connection with the server is indicated by
the red CON diode. When the receiver is turned on for the first time with the WL2 card, the green LED AUT
will start flashing. This means establishing proper communication with the CloudFlex application. Then log
in to the user's account at www.cloudflex.dtm.pl and add the receiver to the list of authorized devices. The
receiver adding procedure will require the user to enter the receiver ID number and the physical address
(MAC) of the WL2 card. In the case of the FLEX868 receiver, the ID number should be read from the
receiver's menu using the 'Id' function. The physical address of the WL2 card should be read from the
label on the card or from the receiver's menu, using the 'Et.AF' function. The correct registration of
the receiver will be indicated by the green diode 'AUT. Lighting of all three LEDs on the WL2 card
means that the card and the receiver are working properly in the CloudFlex environment.
5.2. Remote change of WiFi access network
The cloudflex.dtm.pl website offers a functionality that allows you to remotely change the access network
through which the receiver connects to the server. It is strongly recommended to use this option if the first
connection was made using the HOT SPOT method.
The function is available only in FLEX receivers with firmware version 2.00 or higher, equipped with a WL2
card. If necessary, update the receiver firmware from the receiver list.
Changing the Wi-Fi access network should be carried out as follows:
Step 1
: Log in to the cloudflex.dtm.pl website
Step 2
: Add the receiver to the list of authorized devices (if it has not been added previously)
Step 3
: Click the "WiFi networks" tab (if the tab is not visible - update the receiver firmware).
Step 4
: Select the target network from the list of available networks, enter the password and confirm.
The receiver will go offline for a while, then reappear online when successfully connected to the new access
point.
If, after changing the WiFi network, the receiver does not connect to the server in the required time, it will
automatically restore the connection to the WiFi network through which it last connected to the server.
Such a situation may occur if, from the list of available WiFi networks, you select a network that does not
have an Internet connection or, for example, an incorrect WiF access password is entered.
