Gate A20 Option: Choose Fast (chipset handled) or Normal (keyboard handled). The gate
A20 is a device used to address memory above 1Mbytes. Initially, the gate A20 was handled
via a pin on the keyboard. Today, while keyboards still provide this support, it is more
common, and much faster, for the system chipset to provide support for gate A20.
Security Option: Choose Setup or System. If system is selected, the password should be set.
Assign IRQ For VGA: Choose Enabled or Disabled. Enabled will assign and IRQ to
Graphic Controller.
OS Select For DRAM > 64MB: Select Disabled or Enabled. If the system memory is larger
than 64MB and running OS/2, please enable this item. However, if it use other operating
system, please disable this feature. Furthermore, if the system memory is less than 64MB,
the BIOS will ignore this function.
Video BIOS Shadow: ROM Shadow copies Video BIOS code from slower ROM to faster
RAM. Video BIOS can then execute from RAM.
C8000-DFFFF Shadow: If enabled and BIOS is present in this segment, then the BIOS is
shadowed.
