Software Installation

EDIT MENU

Mute

makes the selected portion of the file silent, reducing the amplitude of the

selected portion of the waveform to zero. Use

Undo

immediately after muting to

recover accidentally muted material.

Select All

selects the entire recording.

Zoom In

displays a smaller portion of the file in the waveform display.

Zoom Out

displays a larger portion of the file in the waveform display.

Insert File

opens the Insert File dialog box, enabling you to paste a file of your

choice into the currently loaded file.

Mix with File

opens the Mix with File dialog box, enabling you to paste-mix a file

of your choice into the currently loaded file.

Undo

reverses the last change you made to

the current audio file.

Cut

removes the selected portion of the audio

file and stores it on the Clipboard.

Copy

copies the selected portion of the audio

file to the Clipboard without removing it.

Paste

inserts the audio stored on the

Clipboard at the cursor or replaces a selection
on the waveform display.

Delete

removes the selected portion of the

file. The

Del

Delete

key on your keyboard

also serves this function. Use

Undo

immediately after deleting to recover
accidentally deleted material.
