8. Recalibra on

WARNING!

The following procederes are described by way of documenta on only, but it

shall be performed by authorised calibra on centres only and in case of real

need.

DRUCK & TEMPERATUR Leitenberger GmbH declines any responsibility for measurement errors or
bad func oning which should be caused by adjustments performed not properly. In this case, the

validity of cer ﬁca ons would loose.

8.1 Recalibra on of Gauge Pressure and Compound Ranges

The instrument is supplied calibrated, but if a calibra on devia on is no ced over me during the
periodic calibra on, it is possible to correct the reading error. The reading error is adjusted by
modifying the gain factor (default: 1.0000).

If the reading is higher than the reference, the gain factor mus be reduced.
If the reading is lower than the reference, the gain factor must be increased.

measurements and the nega ve gain for the VACUUM measurements. If your instrument does not
oﬀer vacuum measurements, enter the „pressure“ gain value also as the „vacuum“ gain.

The correc on mus be performed by evalua ng the reading error on a pressure

higher than 75% of the full scale value, measured by a reference sample with

uncertainty below 0.020%, e.g. a deadweight tester, considering all necessary

correc ons.
