In case of a poorly running air slide, it can be disassembled
for cleaning/replacement. The air slide is spring suspended by
means of a bolt (4) and a spring (5) located below a cover plate
(3).
The plate (7) on which the slide runs can also be disassembled.
-
To remove the air slide, proceed as follows
(see figure 4);
- Remove the vermiculite plates (1) from the bottom
- Remove the bolts (2) and remove the cover plate (3)
-
Remove plate 11 with screws (12) or outdoor air
connection (9) with screws (10)
- Remove bolt (4) with spring (5) (hold the air slide handle)
- The air slide (6) can now be removed
-
After the air slide has been removed, the running surface
can be checked for possible damages / dirt. Clean or sand
(K80) the surface.
-
Apply dry-film lubrication Molykote D-321R to the running
surfaces.
-
For assembling the air slide, please follow the above points
in opposite order.
●
Jannik
-
Jannik was made with a lockable 80 mm outside air
connection;
- The smoke exhaust ring can be rotated to create a 130 or
150 mm diameter.
●
Jannik latch re-adjustment
-
At delivery and during maintenance, please check door play
and operation of the door latch;
-
If it goes stiffly or makes a noise, the following measures
can be taken;
-
Lubricate the shaft of the latch with a little bit of heat-
resistant grease;
-
If necessary, the door can be re-adjusted by re-adjusting
the little hollow shaft;
-
By loosening the nuts somewhat and shifting the little
hollow shafts;
-
Then re-tighten the nuts firmly;
-
Check whether the sealing tape closes properly by
clamping a sheet of paper between the stove and the
sealing tape when closing the stove door;
-
It should not be possible to pull out the sheet of paper
easily. Adjust the door, if necessary.
